Aria is now
offering up its first gay and lesbian night on Wednesdays, with the goal of
drawing a well-heeled (not necessarily high-heeled) party crowd (courtesy of the
Boston Globe).
Restaurant,
bar and video lounge for both men and women. Thursday nights are a Boston
institution with virtual who's who of the city in attendance. Basically one stop
shopping for drinks, dinner and cruising. No cover, open till 2am
Every
city seems to have a neighborhood bar called the Eagle and Boston is no
exception. Simple in the truest sense of the word, it features a big bar, a
pulsing dance music beat and gets progressively more crowded as the clock
approaches closing time. This IS the last call destination for many. No cover,
open till 2am
As
close to a gay sports bar as Boston gets, the crowd here runs the gamut in the
age, shapes and size categories. Brunch is served on Sundays. The friendly bar
staff makes this sort of like a gay Cheers, it seems everybody knows your name.
No cover, open noon to 2am
Located in Broadway
Bay Village. Join an easy-going and casual crowd of straight and gay men and
women while enjoying performances by live bands, drag queens, and performance
artists. Open M - Sat 10:30 am - 12 am, Sun 12 pm - 12 am.
Seven nights. Another
institution, Luxor used to be the queen of theme nights and still attracts a
sizable, diverse crowd on Tuesdays for Show Tune Night. Busy on weekends.
Comfortable and, with three separate bars, undeniably one of the enduring
neighborhood hot spots
Long
running and wildly popular club with two nights geared specifically to the gay
community. Thursdays and Saturdays draw a great crowd and the Central Square
location is popular with many a Cambridge college boy. Fridays are targeted to a
mixed crowd of S&M enthusiasts. Cover varies, open till 2am
A
small but ever changing cast of male strippers, adult videos on the monitors and
a sizeable stand and model cruise scene upstairs. Downstairs is a smallish dance
floor, open just the latter part of the week. All ages, all sizes. Open
7 Nights A Week. Sun-Wed 7PM-1AM. Thur-Sat 7PM-2AM. Open Sunday 'Til 2 AM on
holiday weekends!
A
Boston institution open seven days a week. Popular with the leather/levi and
"bear" set, as well as many others. The back room has a high leather
cruise quotient and is truly a men's bar, with a leather dress code enforced on
Friday and Saturday nights. No cover, open from 12 noon to 2am
Great
crowd of regulars makes everyone feel right at home. Dancing Thursday thru
Sunday nights, food available daily from 3pm to 8pm. They don't call Lynn the
City of Sin for nothing. Open daily till 2am, no cover charge, free parking
